McGovern, a sophomore, was named Most
Valuable Player of the Region III, Division II baseball
tournament as MCC won its fourth straight regional title.
McGovern pitched a complete game six-hitter in the deciding 2-1
victory over Mercyhurst NE. He struck out 10, walked one, and
allowed one unearned run. McGovern was also 7-for-10 at the
plate for the tournament. |

On the week, Lindsey went 4-0 and giving up
no earned runs in 22 innings for the Hawks. She threw perfect
game against Cobleskill and shut out Hudson Valley CC and Finger
Lakes CC. The only run scored against her was an unearned run by
Broome CC. Heiser also struck out 33 over that span. At the
plate she had 11 hits in 25 at bats (.440).

with six runs batted in as the Vikings swept a doubleheader from
the Hornets. Guillod leads the team in hitting (.471 batting
average), hits (40), triples (4) and RBIs (31). |

Cary, a freshman, tossed two no-hitters to
help the Tribunes go 10-0 last week. She struck out six while
no-hitting Erie CC on April 25, then allowed no hits and struck
out five against Mohawk Valley CC on April 26. Including two
other hitless relief appearances last week, Cary ended up
throwing 15 innings, allowing no hits, and striking out 15.

and two assists in HVCC’s 15-3 win over Mohawk Valley on Tuesday
and registered three goals and three assists in a 15-4 win over
Jefferson on Saturday. He leads the team with 29 goals, 16
assists and points. |

Rieman tossed a no-hitter Thursday against
Finger Lakes to highlight a strong week in the circle. She
opened the week by shutting out Corning 4-0, allowing just four
hits while striking out five. In the no-hitter, she struck out
seven in five innings, and then threw three no-hit innings in
relief in game two to earn her third win of the week. Against
Mohawk Valley, she struck out five in five innings giving up two
hits and one run.

struck out 8, while only walking 2. Giving her and ERA of 3.00
for the week. Amanda also hit .727 (8 for 11) in 4 games,
including 2 doubles and 4 RBI's.

With these two games past us Justin now has 45 points on the
year in 5 games. He is a 3.57 GPA student, a member of Phi Theta
Kappa and a captain for Herkimer CCC. His all go-no quit
attitude is what makes him one of the most explosive players in
the country. |

(38:52.17) at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational on
Sunday.

3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while
connecting on 12-of-28 shots from the field, 42.1 %, including
6-of-11 from three-point range, 54.6%, and a perfect 5-for-5
from the free throw line. The 6'1" senior scored 17 points
versus Hudson Valley in the team's 86-79 semifinal victory on
Saturday and 16 in the team's 77-75 victory over Herkimer on
Sunday in the Championship Game. |

season Hilliard averages 20.5 points per game.

where he won the all events title. He also partnered with
sophomore Brett Cunningham to win doubles titles at the
Westchester Blue & Orange and Schenectady Invitational. Ryan’s
high game for the week was 279. |

Saturday against Jefferson, she had 25 points, 10 rebounds, 4

Pearson recorded doubles-doubles in all four
of the Saints games this week. Pearson averaged 25.8 points per
game and also averaged 13.8 rebounds per game. She shot 61
percent on the week, making 42-of-68 shots. She also had 14
blocks on the week to go along with 14 steals leading the Saints
to a 3-1 record. In the win vs Pennsylvania Tech, Pearson had 28
points, 21 rebounds, eight steals, and six blocks.

I wrestlers. Prior to this event Niagara CCC had never had a
place winner at this tournament. Riley's record this season is
31 - 5 overall with a junior college record of 16 - 0. |

Hemingway had a terrific week for the
undefeated Hudson Valley CC Vikings. On Tuesday Hemingway had a
team high 27 points and 17 rebounds at SUNY Delhi as HVCC
defeated the Broncos 86-74. Hemingway followed that game up with
a 24 point 12 rebound effort on Saturday against North Country.
Hudson Valley won that game by a score of 97-85. On the season
Hemingway is averaging 21 points and 13 rebounds for the Vikings
who are currently 14-0 and ranked #1 in the country in the
latest NJCAA Division 3 poll. |

has scored 100 points in the team's last 4 games in the past two
weeks.

Region 3 champion Fulton Montgomery leading HVCC in scoring with
29 points. He also collected 8 rebounds and had 3 assists in a
114-104 victory. Justin followed that victory with a 19 point 5
rebound effort in a 89-75 win over rival SUNY Cobleskill on
Friday. Gallo capped off a stellar week on Sunday by scoring 27
points grabbing 9 rebounds and handing out 4 assists in a 113-76
victory Gallo is leading the Vikings in scoring at 21.7 ppg and
is also collecting 6 rpg for 12-0 Hudson Valley CC. |

Broward CC. She then had 30 points and 10 rebounds in a 91-65
loss to top-ranked Gulf Coast CC. For the season she is
averaging a team-high 18.4 points per game.

and 6 boards. On Thursday, Mayben tied a school record with 13
assists. Emanuel capped off the week with a triple double in the
Vikings 91-68 victory at Finger Lakes scoring 17 points with 11
assists and 11 rebounds. Mayben has helped lead the team to a
7-0 start and is averaging 17 points, 10 assists and 6 rebounds. |

Aimee averaged 18.5 points per game with 4.5

Mohawk Valley. Aimee was 12-14 in the second half from the free
throw line. She turned the ball over just once in the 36 minutes
she played.

Tournament. He then added six 3's and 26 points in a 103-99 loss
to Notre Dame Prep in the title game. He was named to the
All-Tournament team and is averaging 18.5 points per game this

finals to advance to the Division I national tournament.

Emerllahu, a freshman forward, scored four
goals and handed out an assist in a 12-0 win over Erie CC last
week. He also played well in a 7-1 win over the Community
College of Rhode Island and has helped the Tribunes jump out to
a 6-1 record. Emerllahu has five goals and one assist on the
season. |

Hometown: Castleton, NY
Brenna had six goals and an assist in a 2-0-1
week for the Hudson Valley CC women's soccer team. She had an
assist in Hudson valley's 3-2 win over SUNY Delhi; scored two
goals in a 2-2 tie with Finger Lakes CC; and netted four goals
in a 5-0 win over Genesee CC.

road shutout victories this week. On Monday, he had 5
saves in a 1-0 win over SUNY Delhi. He followed that
performance with 5 saves in another 1-0 win at Hudson Valley CC
on Wednesday. |

Hometown: Remsen NY
Smith scored 10 goals and added 4 assists this week in with over
Alfred State, Erie CC, Cayuga CC, and Corning CC. She has
helped Finger Lakes remain undefeated for the year posting four
shutouts in their first six games.

Steven is one of SUNY Cobleskill's center backs who helped the
team to a pair wins this week. On Tuesday, Steven scored an
amazing game winning goal against Herkimer CCC and then helped
limit Herkimer's chances for the rest of the game. The Tiger's
then shut out win over Clinton CC with Steven's help in the
back. |

Jennifer does a great job controlling the center of the field
for the Generals. This week she picked up 5 goals and 5 assists
against Region III competitors SUNY Cobleskill, Hudson Valley CC
and Clinton CC.

Johann helped the Herkimer CCC men's soccer
team to two shutout victories to claim the Coliseum Soccer Club
Classic hosted by Herkimer 9/1 and 9/2. He was named the
defensive MVP for the tournament. He also had the game winning
assist for the second game. |
